We would like to confirm that The Old Dead Tree will perform live @ SUMMER BREEZE Open Air Festival (Dinkehlsbühl, GERMANY) on Saturday August 16th at noon. A signing-session will be organized just after the show on the Metal Hammer Booth!

LAGOA BURNING LIVE Festival cancelled!
We are sorry to inform that the Lagoa Burning Live Festival (25th/26th/27th July - Estombar, Portugal) won't happen! Indeed, the promoter was forced to cancel the whole festival because of the destroyed venue! Although there is is no new portuguese date scheduled till yet, we hope to come back to Lusitania soon...

03.08. NEW DRUMMER REVEALED : RAPHAEL ANTHEAUME JOINS THE OLD DEAD TREE AS FULL TIME MEMBER!

The search is over, and a new drummer has now joined the band. The level of competition and skills among the few drummers who remained at the top of the crop was extremely high, but this guy logically outplayed everyone in the end.

Indeed, we are very happy to announce that after having worked with us as a session musician for about six months now, Raphaël has decided to join THE OLD DEAD TREE as a full time member! For those who aren't familiar with him yet, Raphaël is the drummer of the french symphonic metal band PENUMBRA. As a professional musician, he is also involved in others projects and various music styles. If you want to find out more about Raphaël, you can check his myspace.

To the drummers we met : Again, we want to thank you all for offering your services and wish you all the best for the future!

Dear All, With this new year begining, we wanted to let you know that 2007 has been an amazing year for us!
We released our new album "The Water Fields", which received a warm welcome, and we met many fans in the countries we visited. Anywhere from our European Tour in October/November/December, there are just too many memories to write them all in one message. 2008 will see some new shows (Wave Gotik Treffen, Hellfest & various gigs accross Europe), but also the arrival of our new drummer!

Due to Foued Moukid's decision to leave the band, THE OLD DEAD TREE is now looking for a new drummer.

BREAKING NEWS! Foued MOUKID & THE OLD DEAD TREE part ways

Foued Moukid has stepped down from his drums wielding duties after 3 years in The Old Dead Tree. Foued has decided to devote himself to his other band ARKAN in "full-time" mode, and also to others personal private projects.
"We had been working in this band together for almost 3 years and we shared some unforgettable experiences together all over Europe. We will obviously remain friends and this "break up" has been on very good terms from both sides. We would like to thank our friend and wish him the best of luck with his future ventures!"
Please note that all gigs scheduled – except Portugal – are still confirmed! A session drummer – Raphaël ANTHEAUME – will replace Foued until his successor has been found.
